Obituary for Kay L. Brown

July 6, 1952 - November 25, 2017

Kay Brown, beloved wife of Rev. Michael Peterson, peacefully passed away Saturday morning, November 25th, at home. Kay was known to friends and family for her compassion, creativity, humour, and for her love of animals and nature. She was a person of unshakeable faith, fierce intelligence and strong moral compass, a wise and kind friend to many. She fought cancer unflinchingly for two and half years, and even when tired and hurting was gracious and considerate to everyone she met.

Gifts in her memory can be made to either Ovarian Cancer Canada or to the parish building fund at St. Margaret’s. Donation envelopes will be available at the church. Funeral arrangements prepared by Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie, ON L4M 6T5.

Funeral Service was held at St. Margaret's to celebrate the life of Kay L. Brown on Sunday, December 3rd, at 4:00 p.m.
