Obituary for E. Blake Prentice

May 28, 1937 - April 20, 2010

Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Tuesday April 20th 2010 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Maggie. Loving father of Jim and his wife Faye, Kimberley and her husband Al, Kelly and her husband Jeff and loving father to A-J, Donna and her husband Martin, Rob and his wife Nat, Pete and his wife Chris. Dear grandfather of 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Brother of Eleanor (Steve) Coleman, Bill (Dede) Prentice, Jewell (late Jimmy) Hogg, and Clive (Brenda) Prentice. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Blake will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends. A celebration of Blake's life was held at St. Margaret's Anglican Church 161 Hanmer St. W., Barrie on Monday April 26th 2010 at 11:00am. Memorial donations to the discretionary Fund at St. Margaret's would be appreciated by the family.
