Obituary for Alexander Louis Saunoris

1952 - 2009

Alexander Louis Saunoris passed away suddenly at home on Sunday September 6, 2009. Alex Saunoris of Barrie was in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Gail (nee Freeman), Alex is also survived by his parents Helen and Alex Sr., his brothers David & wife Patricia, Robert & wife Bernadette, and his sister Margaret Trask & husband Jim. Alex will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his four legged children Vaugner and Webber. A celebration of Alex's life was held at St. Margaret's on Wednesday September 16th at 1:00 pm. The Rev. Canon Richard Marples provided the eulogy and celebrated the Eucharist joined by the Rev. Capt. Stephen Pessah, who provided the sermon. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Margaret's Anglican Church, the Diabetes Association or Furry Friends Animal Shelter are appreciated. Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, officiated.
