Obituary for Wilfred Clarence DeGeer

February 26, 1939 - January 8, 2011

Wilf Degeer passed away suddenly on Saturday January 8th, 2011, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie at the age of 71. Although Wilf was involved at several churches and church services he was a faithful member of St. Margaret's Wednesday morning prayer time and Holy Communion Service.

He was the son of the late Charles and Etta DeGeer, brother of Joan Carruthers and her husband John, Roger and his wife Eve, the late Percy and his wife, the late Maxine, and the late Joyce Richardson. He is also survived by nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and remembered by Clifford Graham and Robert Richardson.

A memorial service was be held Saturday January 15th, at 3:00 p.m. at the Minesing United Church.
